Valencia Events Calendar 2027: What's Confirmed, Month by Month
Thirteen events on this calendar have a date you can plan around: either a source states the 2027 date, or a published annual rule fixes it and the date follows. They fall in eight months — January, February, March, April, May, July, September and October. A fourteenth entry is a whole month rather than a day, because the city has not published a window for the July fair. June, August, November and December have nothing dated for the square, and this page says so in one line rather than filling the space.
Every date here was checked on 7 November 2026 against the city council's agenda and its Bando Fallero reports, the tourism board's festival pages and Fallas FAQ, and the Comunitat Valenciana labour calendar. A time is printed only where the organiser publishes it for 2027; where it is the organiser's own recurring pattern instead, the page says so.

One row per month. A dash means no date is published for the square in that month — not that the month is quiet.
January 2027
Cabalgata de Reyes Magos
- Date: Tuesday 5 January 2027, 17:30
- Venue: from the Alameda to Marqués de Sotelo, by way of Plaça de l'Ajuntament
- Why: The parade's last stretch is the square, and the Kings stop in front of the Town Hall balcony to adore the child at a life-size nativity set up there.
The Kings reach La Marina Norte at about 16:30 and the parade moves off at 17:30. Seats along the route: 2,500 of them at 4 EUR, on sale from 12:30.
Two things are also dated on the square in early January, both of them indoors. The municipal belén in the Town Hall's Salón de Cristal runs to 5 January — free, and the city calls the dates approximate. The Teatre Rialto at Plaça de l'Ajuntament 17 opens its January season on the 8th: Huérfanos 8–10, El nudo gordiano 9–10, Medea (Historia de un ghosting) 14–17 and El aguante 21–31, all ticketed.
February 2027
La Crida
- Date: Sunday 28 February 2027. No starting time is published.
- Venue: Torres de Serrans
- Why: The festival is opened at the old city gate, not on the square, and no hour is published — the date is the council's, fixed at its Bando Fallero meeting of 4 November 2026, so plan a street evening at the Torres rather than a ticketed event.
The Torres are 1.2 km up the old town, about 15 minutes' walk from the square. The same Bando authorises the buñuelo and fried-dough stalls from that Sunday, so the festival's street food arrives with its opening ceremony.
March 2027
March has a page of its own, because it has more dated entries than any other month: the daily mascletà from 1 to 19 March, the plantà on the 15th and 16th, the Ofrena on 17–18 March, the Nit del Foc on the night of the 18th, the Cremà on the 19th and the buñuelo stalls from 28 February.
If you only read one line: from 1 to 19 March the square has a fixed appointment at 14:00 every day, so any date in that window puts you inside the festival whether or not the rest of the programme has been published.

April 2027
Sant Vicent Ferrer
- Date: Monday 5 April 2027
- Venue: the altars are across the old town; the civic procession starts at the Town Hall
- Why: The second Monday of Easter is a city holiday, and this is the one Valencian festival that is almost entirely local: 14 street altars where children act out the saint's miracles, and a civic procession that leaves the Town Hall at noon in the usual programme.
The date is the council's: the Plenary of 23 July 2026 set 5 April 2027 as the city's holiday for the saint. The 2027 timetable is not published. In the usual programme the pontifical is at 10:00 at the Cathedral, the civic procession leaves the square at 12:00 and ends with a mascletà in Plaça de Tetuan, and the general procession leaves the Cathedral at 19:00.
May 2027
Mare de Déu dels Desemparats
- Date: Sunday 9 May 2027. Mass at 08:00; the image moves at 10:30; mascletà at 14:00; general procession at 17:30.
- Venue: the Basílica, the Cathedral and Plaça de l'Ajuntament
- Why: The city's patroness is carried from her basilica into the cathedral at 10:30, the square fires a mascletà in her honour at 14:00, and the general procession that leaves at 17:30 takes four hours.
The day is the second Sunday of May every year, which is the 9th in 2027; the 2027 programme itself is not published. In the usual shape of the day the square also has a night pyrotechnic show at 23:59 on the Saturday before.
June 2027
Nothing is published for the square in June 2027. The last dated fixture before it is the Desemparats day on 9 May and the next is the Batalla de Flores on 25 July.
July 2027
Gran Fira de València
- Date: July 2027. The city has not published the dates.
- Venue: city-wide; the square is where the opening show and fireworks are staged, as in 2026
- Why: The July fair is the city's own programme for the month and it opens on the square: in 2026 it opened here on 1 July at 22:00 with a show and fireworks, and closed with the Batalla de Flores on 26 July. The 2027 day-by-day comes out in late June, so plan July as a month rather than around a week.
Batalla de Flores
- Date: Sunday 25 July 2027. No 2027 time is published.
- Venue: Passeig de l'Albereda
- Why: The fair closes with this parade on the last Sunday of July, which is the 25th in 2027 — a rule rather than a programme entry, so the date holds even though the fair's own window does not. The 2026 edition started at 20:00.
August 2027
Nothing is published for the square in August 2027. The July fair is the last entry in the festival calendar, and the square has no August fixture of its own.
September 2027
Fiesta del Tomate, Mercat Central
- Date: Saturday 25 September 2027, from 11:00
- Venue: Mercat Central, 350 m from the square
- Entry: Free
- Why: A Saturday morning given over to the tomato in the Central Market — one of the Mercafestes that Mercavalència runs in the city's markets, and the market itself fills the rest of the morning.
The 2027 date comes from the city's own Mercafestes agenda and from the tourism board's page, which agree on it. The morning, from 11:00, is the part that is published; no end hour is.
October 2027
9 d'Octubre, Dia de la Comunitat Valenciana
- Date: Saturday 9 October 2027
- Venue: Plaça de l'Ajuntament and the old town
- Why: The Valencian Community's own day plays out on the square: the Senyera comes down from the consistorial balcony at noon, a mascletà fires at 14:00, the Baixada de Glòria follows at 15:45, and the Moors and Christians come through from the Glorieta at 17:00.
Those are the day's usual times rather than a 2027 promise. The route and timetable are published nearer the date, and in 2026 the mascletà was suspended the day before, because the housing encampment occupied the firing ground.
November 2027
Nothing is published for the square in November 2027. The Christmas season that follows is the 2027-28 one, and the city normally announces it in mid-to-late November.
December 2027
Nothing is published for the square in December 2027 either. The Christmas run belongs to the 2027-28 season, and the city has published none of it.
If your dates are fixed
If the flights are booked, this is what each part of the year actually gives you.
- 1–6 January: the belén runs to the 5th, and the Cabalgata is on the 5th at 17:30. The square's Christmas installation for the 2026-27 season is unpublished.
- The last weekend of February: the Crida is on the 28th with no time published, and the buñuelo stalls open the same day.
- Any date from 1 to 19 March: a mascletà at 14:00 in the square, every day of the run.
- 15–19 March: the plantà on the 15th and 16th, the Ofrena on the 17th and 18th, the Nit del Foc on the night of the 18th and the Cremà on the 19th — in that order, set out on the March page.
- 20 March onwards: Easter week follows the festival — Palm Sunday on 21 March, Easter Sunday on the 28th, and Lunes de Pascua on the 29th, a Comunitat Valenciana holiday.
- 5 April: the second Monday of Easter is a city holiday, and the usual programme starts at 10:00 with the pontifical at the Cathedral.
- 9 May: the second Sunday of May; the mascletà on the square is at 14:00.
- July: the fair is undated; the Batalla de Flores is fixed on the 25th.
- 25 September: the tomato feast at the Central Market, from 11:00, free.
- 9 October: the square's own day, on the usual times above.
- Everything else: nothing is published. An empty month here is a statement about what has been published, not a reason to avoid the month.
Where these dates come from
The pages that carry them are the Ajuntament de València's agenda and its Bando Fallero reports, Visit València's festival pages and Fallas FAQ, the Comunitat Valenciana tourism board, and Mercavalència's Mercafestes page. Where a month has no date, the two pages that publish first are the council's agenda on valencia.es and, for anything Fallas, the Junta Central Fallera's programme on fallas.com, which the JCF brings out in December. This page is rewritten when they do.
