Valencia Events - March 2027
March 2027 is the Fallas month, and the square is where it happens: nineteen days of mascletàs at 14:00, two days of monuments going up, two afternoons of flowers and one night of fire. The dates below are the organiser's. The hours of the Ofrena and the minute-by-minute programme come with the Junta Central Fallera's 2027 programme, which had not been published on 7 November 2026.
The month in order: buñuelo stalls from 28 February; a mascletà at 14:00 every day from 1 to 19 March; the children's plantà on the 15th and the large fallas on the 16th; the Ofrena on 17–18 March from 15:30; the Nit del Foc on the night of the 18th; the Cremà on the 19th, from 20:00, with the square's own falla last at 23:00.
The stalls, from 28 February
Buñuelo and fried-dough stalls
Date: from Sunday 28 February 2027. No closing date is published.
Venue: the Fallas zone, including the streets around the square
Why: Fried dough arrives before the monuments do: the council's Bando Fallero of 4 November 2026 authorises the stalls from the last Sunday of February, and no closing date is published.
Markets and food stalls are authorised separately, for 12–19 March 2027.
The mascletà, every day from 1 to 19 March
Daily mascletà
Date: 1–19 March 2027, daily at 14:00
Venue: Plaça de l'Ajuntament
Why: It lasts a few minutes and it is the one fixed point of the day in the square: nineteen days, one hour, so it is the part of the festival you can plan without waiting for the programme. The 2027 line-up of firing firms is not published.
This is the one hour of the year that does not move. If you are in the city on any date from 1 to 19 March, the square has a 14:00 event whether or not the programme has landed.
Festival week, 15–19 March
La Plantà
Date: 15 March 2027 for the children's fallas, 16 March 2027 for the large ones. No 2027 installation times are published.
Venue: the square and the streets around it
Why: The children's monuments are up and visitable on the 15th and the big ones on the 16th, which is the day the full set becomes walkable — the square's own falla included.
Ofrena de Flors
Date: 17–18 March 2027, from 15:30, running past midnight on the 18th
Venue: ends at the Virgin's image in Plaça de la Verge
Why: Two afternoons of flowers carried to the Virgin's image in Plaça de la Verge; go on the 17th if you want to watch the flower covering go up rather than photograph it finished.
Nit del Foc
Date: the night of 18 March 2027. No firing time is published.
Venue: fired over the old riverbed at the Alameda / Pont de Monteolivete
Why: The festival's big firework night is fired from the dry riverbed, where there is room to stand back — and no hour is published, so the evening is a walk down to the Turia rather than a countdown on the square.
La Cremà
Date: Friday 19 March 2027, staggered from 20:00 to 23:00
Venue: the square and the falla sites across the city
Why: Everything burns in one night and in a fixed order: children's fallas at 20:00, the square's children's falla at 21:00, all the fallas at 22:00, the first prize at 22:30, and the falla on the square deliberately last at 23:00 — wait for the last one.
What March does not publish yet
The 2027 Fallas programme fills in the rest: which firm fires which mascletà, the commission-by-commission timetable of the Ofrena, and the fireworks on the square on the nights before the 19th. The Junta Central Fallera brings it out on fallas.com in December. Until then the dates above are the ones that hold, and no time is printed here that the organiser has not published for 2027.
